Title: Mt. Zion Lion Money
Post by: Michael:D on February 20, 2017, 04:08:06 PM
I came across this picture while searching "Mount Zion Indy" and found it quite interesting. It was 'pinned' on pinterest.
This is the text that accompanied it on the source page:
QuoteI was pleased when one of my long time customers brought this note in for sale this week. This note is unique in several ways. This is the only known surviving example and was the plate note in Wolka's Indiana obsolete banknote book. According to Wolka this is the ONLY obsolete in the US that featured a lion and only 1 of 3 notes done entirely in blue ink making this a rare and desirable note.
