Mt Zion Library System

As many of you are aware, the Library collection at Mt Zion has been undergoing a cataloging process, where all items are being listed in a searchable database that is available online at http://MtZionIndy.org/library/. Although there are still many items yet to be listed, a great many items are now listed and the Library System is now being made available in beta (testing) version.

If you are interested in having a look at the items, you can log-in to the library using "Guest" access: Visit  http://MtZionIndy.org/library/ and log-in as User Name guest and Password mtzionindy. As a guest you can browse and search the collection.

You are encouraged however, to register for "Patron" access so that you can take advantage of several features unavailable to the "Guest" visitors. In order to reserve a book on-line you will need to be a "Patron", to register please complete the registration form here. Patrons will also be able to maintain a "MyBooks" list to keep track of any items that interest you so you can easily find them again in the future. Also, only registered patrons will be able to access downloadable content.

By opening the Mt Zion Library System for testing it is hoped that if there are any problems with it that those will be discovered and fixed to improve the Library for everyone. So, if you experience any problems or difficulties please let us know by emailing to library@mtzionindy.org and explain what is (or isn't) happening. Your help will be very much appreciated.

At this point, the procedures for borrowing items from the library are not completely established but within the on-line system you will have the ability to request items and we will gladly help you acquire them for loan.
